Income Officer
Our client, based in Hackney, is currently recruiting for an Income Officer on a 3-month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position. The ideal candidate will have experience managing current rent accounts, attended court for rent arrears and also have access to their own vehicle. THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED POSITION Duties will include (but are not limited to): Managing around 300 current rent accounts Taking payments over the phoneMonitoring tenants rent accounts and chase tenants rent arrearsAttending evictions alongside bailiffs Representing the organisation in court Serving NOSPs and NTQsSetting up repayment plans Experience required: Experience required in Social HousingExperience working with customers within housing Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalGood organisational and time management skillsA thourough knowledge of tenancy management and rent arreas recoveryAwareness of and ability to comply with health and safety legislation Experience asissting with clients with complex needs Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to changing demands, while meeting deadlines Rewards and Benefits: Flexible working days Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
