Academics are seeking a committed and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) provision in Bromley, supporting secondary-aged students to re-engage with learning and achieve their potential. About the role In this role, you will:Support students with SEMH needs in both academic lessons and intervention sessionsBuild positive, trusting relationships to promote engagement and emotional regulationImplement behaviour strategies and personalised support plansWork closely with teachers, pastoral staff and external agenciesHelp create a calm, safe and nurturing learning environmentEncourage positive attitudes towards learning, attendance and achievementAbout you We''re looking for someone who:Has experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEMH or additional needsIs calm, patient, empathetic and able to de-escalate challenging situationsHas strong communication and relationship-building skillsCan work as part of a multidisciplinary teamIs committed to inclusion, safeguarding and improving outcomes for young peopleRelevant qualifications (e.g., psychology, education, youth work) are desirable but not essential; strong experience and the right attitude are highly valued.
