We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor / Keyworker to join our team working across alternative provision settings in Basildon and Romford. This is a long-term, full-time role supporting pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional, and social support.The RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor / Keyworker, you will:Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needsAct as a keyworker for allocated students, building strong, trusting relationshipsSupport pupils to manage behaviour, regulate emotions, and re-engage with educationWork closely with teaching staff, SEN professionals, and external agenciesSupport looked after children (LAC) and pupils with complex backgroundsTravel between sites as requiredThe Ideal CandidateExperience working with SEMH pupils is highly desirableExperience supporting looked after children is preferredCalm, consistent, and resilient approach to behaviour managementStrong communication and relationship-building skillsCommitted to safeguarding and pupil wellbeingMust be a car driver with access to a vehicle due to travel between sitesWhat We OfferA rewarding role making a real difference to vulnerable young peopleSupportive team and leadershipLong-term stability within alternative provisionOpportunity to develop specialist SEMH and behaviour support experienceIf you are passionate about supporting young people who face barriers to mainstream education and are ready to start immediately, we would love to hear from you.A
