The business produces medium-volume batches of high-precision components and is happy to consider experienced machinists from either Fixed Head or Sliding Head backgrounds, with training available where required. The Role As part of a friendly manufacturing team, you''ll be responsible for producing quality components to production schedules while maintaining high machining standards throughout. Your responsibilities will include: Setting and operating CNC turning centres.Programming CNC machines where experience allows.Working on Miyano (Fixed Head) or Star (Sliding Head) machines, or similar CNC turning centres.Using Fanuc controls or similar control systems.Inspecting components using measuring equipment.Reading and working from engineering drawings.Maintaining quality standards throughout production.
