This role would suit an experienced Turner, Lathe Programmer, Setter, Operator or Machinist who can programme, set and operate lathes and manufacture components to tight tolerances. The RoleAs a CNC Turner, you will programme, set and operate lathes, prove out new programmes and optimise machining cycles while producing precision components to customer specifications.Key responsibilities include:Programme, set and operate lathes and Doosan Turning CentresProve out new programmes and optimise machining cycle timesManufacture precision components from engineering drawingsProduce components to tight tolerances, including 20 micronsCarry out first-off and in-process inspectionEnsure components meet customer quality standards and specificationsMaintain a safe, organised and efficient machine shopEssential Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience as a CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter, Operator or MachinistMust have excellent programming, setting and operating skills working on lathesAbility to read and interpret ..... full job details .....
