Working our established late shift means Monday to Thursday working, every Friday off, and actual earnings of approximately 52,000 - 58,000 per annum including the late-shift premium, depending on experience. CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter - Essential experience Proven experience programming, setting and operating 2-axis CNC turning machines. Able to write new CNC programs from scratch / long-hand at the machine, with little or no supervision. Strong working knowledge of G-code programming. Confident completing the full machine set-up from engineering drawing to finished component, including material, tooling, speeds, feeds and cutting conditions. Able to edit and optimise existing programs where required. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, geometric tolerances, surface finishes and in-process inspection. Experience producing one-off and low-to-medium-volume precision components in a range of hard and soft metals. Confident working on parts from approximately 25 mm x 100 mm up to 300 mm x 3 m.
