We are working with a well-established international education organisation that is looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused HR Administrator to join their friendly and supportive HR team.

Based primarily at their beautiful Cobham campus, this is a varied role supporting HR operations, safer recruitment and safeguarding compliance across three school sites, with occasional travel to Egham and Hillingdon.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an educational setting in a compliance-focused role, with a good understanding of safer recruitment procedures and safeguarding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and monitoring safer recruitment checks, including enhanced DBS, references, right to work and overseas checks.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date Single Central Register (SCR) records.
  • Ensuring all employee records and safeguarding documentation remain accurate and compliant.
  • Identifying and following up outstanding checks, discrepancies and compliance requirements.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, inductions and leaver processes.
  • Providing general HR administration support, including employee records, payroll information and correspondence.
  • Liaising with managers, candidates and colleagues across all three school sites.
  • Assisting with compliance audits, inspections and process improvements.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working within education in a compliance-focused role is essential.
  • Good understanding of safer recruitment, safeguarding procedures and DBS requirements.
  • Previous experience maintaining or working with a Single Central Register would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Confident managing confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable and professional manner.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proactive, reliable and happy to work as part of a supportive team.
  • Previous HR administration experience or CIPD qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
  • Full driving licence and access to a car are essential due to the location and occasional travel between sites.

Benefits:

  • 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Pension scheme
  • Optional private medical insurance
  • Life assurance and income protection
  • Free on-site parking
  • Discounted lunches
  • Access to on-site gym, swimming pool and sports facilities for a small fee
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Eye care benefits
  • Friendly and supportive working environment with opportunities to develop your HR experience

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and collaborative HR team within a professional, international education environment.
