Are you an experienced HR Advisor with strong employee relations knowledge? Do you enjoy supporting and coaching managers to handle people matters confidently and compliantly? Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their People and Culture team, based in Bicester. Reporting to the People and Culture Business Partner, this is a key advisory role supporting managers across the business with employee relations, performance, and absence matters, while ensuring best practice and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will be confident managing ER cases independently, have a strong understanding of employment law, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where sound judgement and discretion are essential. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for line managers seeking HR advice on employee relations, performance, and absence management. Provide timely, consistent, and professional HR guidance to support compliant decision-making. Coach and support managers to build confidence in handling people issues. Independently manage a caseload of low to medium-risk ER cases from initial advice through to resolution. Prepare and issue all relevant documentation, including investigation packs, letters, and outcomes. Maintain accurate and confidential case records within PeopleHR.
