Pinnacle Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Design Manager to join a major UK infrastructure contractor working across the Anglian Water AMP8 framework, based out of their Hoddesdon office, with travel to sites across the Anglian Water region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term water infrastructure programme, supporting the design and delivery of a range of clean water and wastewater projects across the Anglian Water region. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing the design process from concept and pre-construction through to construction and completion. You will work closely with Project Managers, Planners, Commercial teams, site teams, designers, consultants and supply chain partners to ensure designs are developed and delivered to the required technical, programme and commercial requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the design process across multiple water and wastewater projects. Lead design development from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and construction. Coordinate design information between internal teams, consultants, designers, subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure designs are delivered in line with project programmes, budgets, specifications and client requirements. Review and challenge designs to ensure they are practical, buildable and compliant with relevant standards. Manage design deliverables, technical submissions, approvals and design reviews.
