Multi Trade Operative – Social Housing

Location: Sittingbourne and surrounding areas 

Salary: £40,000 + compay van/fuel card & benefits

Hours: Monday-Friday 

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting on behalf of an established property maintenance organisation with a strong presence across the UK. The business brings more than a century of combined industry experience, delivering essential maintenance across the social hosuing sector.

They are seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy social housing maintenance team operating across Sititngbourne and surrounding areas.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out responsive repairs and general maintenance within social housing properties.
• Complete a range of multi-trade works, including; carpentry, plumbing, plastering/patch repairs, tiling, painting/decorating, general building maintenance
• Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
• Complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Liaise professionally with residents and provide excellent customer service.
• Complete job sheets, photographs and other required paperwork accurately.
• Work safely and comply with relevant health and safety procedures.
• Ensure all work meets company, client and industry standards.
• Carry out work across occupied and void social housing properties.

What We're Looking For

• Has proven experience as a Multi Trader or Maintenance Operative.
• Has experience working within social housing, housing association or similar environments.
• Holds a city and guilds or NVQ in a trade
• Has strong practical skills across multiple trades.
• Holds a full UK driving licence.
• Is comfortable working in occupied properties and dealing with residents professionally
