Mechanical Site Managers Gatwick Location: Gatwick Airport Type: Site Based Project: Major Decarbonisation and Building Services Programme We are looking for two experienced Mechanical Site Managers to join a major decarbonisation programme at Gatwick Airport. These roles will be heavily involved in the pre-construction and delivery stages and you will oversee intervention works across both the North and South Terminals. You will be working on plant rooms and outerlying services; making modifications to mechanical plant; AHU''s, heat exchanges, associated pipework and controls etc. working between site, design and project teams to ensure mechanical solutions are practical, coordinated and buildable within a complex live environment. The Role Undertake detailed site surveys and investigations of existing mechanical/building services installations. Review and understand mechanical design, drawings and specifications, identifying potential issues before works commence. Work closely with design teams to develop buildable and practical solutions. Lead reviews of buildability, spatial requirements, interfaces and mechanical coordination. Identify clashes, constraints and design issues and work with the wider team to resolve them. Support installation methodologies, sequencing and construction programmes. Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors throughout delivery.
