Freelance Site Manager: CAT B Office Fit-Out in Canary Wharf Location: Canary Wharf, London Duration: 30 weeks Rate: £290-£315 per day (CIS), DOE Start: Immediate The Opportunity A leading Design and Build fit-out contractor is looking for an experienced Site Manager to work on a high-quality £7m CAT B office fit-out in Canary Wharf. The contractor has a strong pipeline of work across London, so there s potential for further freelance assignments once the project is complete. The Role You ll take full ownership of day-to-day site management, delivering the project safely, on programme and to a high standard. Working alongside the visiting Project Manager, you ll coordinate trades, manage subcontractors and keep strong relationships across the project team. Key Responsibilities Run the live CAT B fit-out day to day Manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades Drive the programme and hit key milestones Maintain exceptional health and safety standards, including inductions and toolbox talks Carry out quality inspections and monitor workmanship Liaise with the PM, consultants and client representatives Produce daily site records and progress updates Requirements Proven track record managing CAT B commercial office fit-outs Design and Build contractor experience (highly desirable) Strong knowledge of commercial interiors and fast-track programmes SMSTS, Black or Gold CSCS card, and First Aid at Work What s on Offer £280-£315 per day (CIS) DOE 30-week contract with a ..... full job details .....
