Job Title: Customer Service Coordinator Location: Whitstable, Kent Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday Thursday 08 30, Friday 08 30 Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Our client is seeking a proactive and professional Customer Service Coordinator to join their Whitstable-based team. This is a dynamic role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the full order lifecycle from quotation to delivery. Key Responsibilities: Process customer orders and quotations within set KPIs. Build strong relationships with internal and external customers. Prepare quotations using internal systems and ensure export compliance. Liaise with commercial, product, and procurement teams to confirm pricing and lead times. Follow up on quotes, negotiate where needed, and progress orders to shipment. Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally. Support external sales and business development teams. Identify new sales opportunities and assist with cross-selling and up-selling. Maintain coverage of phones, emails, and reception during office hours. Participate in team reviews and contribute to service improvements. Person Specification: Experience in customer service, order processing, and quotations. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
