Health and Safety AdvisorLocation: SuffolkSalary: Competitive salary + excellent benefitsJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering long-term career progression, ongoing professional development and exposure to a variety of challenging civil engineering schemes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide practical health, safety and environmental advice and support to project teams.Assist with the preparation, implementation and ongoing review of Construction Phase Plans, Project Management Plans and other HSE documentation.Review and advise on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), task briefings and permit systems.Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings to employees, subcontractors and visitors.Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews, identifying areas for improvement.Support incident reporting, investigations and the implementation of corrective actions.Work closely with site management teams to promote a positive, proactive health and safety culture.Monitor compliance with company HSE procedures, relevant legislation and client requirements.Prepare HSE reports, monitor performance indicators and maintain accurate safety records.Attend project meetings and liaise with clients, ..... full job details .....
