Fire Safety Manager / Health and Safety / Permanent / up to £55,000paLead fire safety, drive compliance and help create safer homes and communities.Vivo Talent are working with our client to recruit an experienced and proactive Fire Safety Manager to lead the management and delivery of fire safety across a substantial housing portfolio.This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape fire safety strategy, oversee a significant improvement programme and ensure the safety of residents, customers, visitors and colleagues.The roleAs the organisation''s fire safety lead, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including the Fire Safety Act, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Building Safety Act.Your responsibilities will include: Leading and developing a team of Fire Safety Surveyors, overseeing performance, training and workload.Developing fire strategies and ensuring Fire Risk Assessments are completed and remedial actions addressed.Overseeing specialist consultants, contractors, procurement and major fire safety improvement contracts.Acting as the main point of contact with the Fire and Rescue Service, managing audits and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.Developing and implementing corporate fire safety policies and building-specific fire strategies.Ensuring ongoing compliance through effective inspection, testing and maintenance programmes covering fire doors, alarms, emergency lighting, escape routes and ..... full job details .....
