The Company: GDS Partners is recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor on behalf of a growing Mechanical and Electrical Contractor delivering a varied portfolio of projects across the Midlands. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, our client is looking to strengthen their Health and Safety team with an experienced and proactive professional. The is a multi site role will involve supporting multiple projects across the region. The Role:The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, site management and subcontractors to ensure high standards of Health and Safety are maintained across all projects. This is a site-focused position offering good variety and the opportunity to join a contractor with ambitious plans for continued growth. Key Responsibilities Carry out regular site inspections, audits and Health and Safety reviews. Review and assist with the preparation of RAMS and safe systems of work. Ensure projects comply with company procedures and current UK Health and Safety legislation. Provide practical Health and Safety advice and support to project and site teams. Monitor subcontractor compliance and promote safe working practices. Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations. Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings where required. Maintain appropriate Health and Safety documentation and reporting.
