Health and Safety ManagerLocation: Mansfield Sector: Civil Engineering / Construction Department: Health and Safety Reports to: Managing Director / HandS Director / Senior Management TeamThe RoleMy client, a very well regarded residential civil engineering company, are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead and support health, safety and environmental standards across our construction operations, based in the East Midlands.Senior Health and Safety Advisor candidates, ready to progress into management, will also be considered.Working closely with senior management, Contracts Managers and site teams, you will provide competent HandS advice, oversee compliance, support project mobilisation and drive a proactive safety culture across the business.This is a hands-on role for a practical HandS professional who is confident working across multiple construction sites and engaging with people at all levels.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day management of health and safety across construction operations.Provide competent HandS advice to directors, managers, supervisors and site teams.Conduct planned and unplanned site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.Prepare, review and approve RAMS and Construction Phase Plans.Support the HandS requirements of new projects, from mobilisation through to completion.Monitor compliance with legislation, company procedures, client requirements and the Integrated Management System.Investigate accidents, incidents and near ..... full job details .....
