Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor / Senior Health and Safety AdvisorLocation: Mansfield Sector: Residential Groundworks Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) + Car Allowance + BenefitsMy client, a well regarded residential civil engineering company are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team and provide practical, proactive HandS support across our construction sites, plant department and wider operations.Working closely with the Health and Safety Manager and operational teams, you will help maintain high standards of health and safety, ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures, and promote a positive safety culture.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance checks.Review and support the preparation of RAMS and Construction Phase Plans.Monitor compliance with safe systems of work, site procedures and legislation.Provide practical HandS advice to Site Managers, Supervisors and operatives.Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations.Monitor corrective actions and identify recurring risks and trends.Support site start-ups, inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.Monitor construction plant, equipment, traffic management, excavations, lifting, COSHH, PPE and other key site controls.Support environmental and occupational health compliance.Maintain HandS records, statistics and management ..... full job details .....
