We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to lead our client''s manufacturing operations, driving high standards of safety, quality, productivity and operational efficiency.You will be flexible, working rotating shifts to include days and nights, 48 hours per week, between the hours of 06.00 and 18.00 and 18.00 and 06.00, Monday to FridayYou will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the production operation, leading and developing teams, delivering production targets and driving a culture of continuous improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and cost-effectively whilst meeting customer expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and promote a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures.Manage daily production operations to achieve agreed targets, quality standards and customer service levels.Drive continuous improvement across productivity, plant efficiency, reliability and manufacturing costs.Lead, motivate and develop production teams, ensuring effective workforce planning, training and performance management.Manage production budgets, labour costs, overtime and operational expenditure.Ensure effective production planning and availability of raw materials.Maintain accurate stock control, production reporting and production-to-yard handovers.Ensure high standards of housekeeping, plant maintenance and operational readiness.Work collaboratively with other departments to ..... full job details .....
