We are seeking an Operations Engineer Machining and Maintenance to support manufacturing through precision engineering, machining, tooling and maintenance. You will design, manufacture, maintain and improve production equipment, jigs, fixtures and tooling to help keep production reliable and efficient. You will join a close-knit team of four colleagues and one apprentice. Key responsibilities Support daily production through precision engineering, machining and maintenance. Design and manufacture components for production jigs, fixtures, tooling and equipment. Carry out precision machining and high-tolerance engineering work to meet production and quality requirements. Perform preventative and responsive maintenance on production equipment, jigs, fixtures and tooling. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules in line with ISO 13485 requirements. Diagnose equipment and tooling faults and carry out repairs to minimise production downtime. Ensure work meets required quality, safety and performance standards and maintain a clean, safe working environment. Support the Line Manager in achieving daily production targets and longer-term operational objectives.
