4Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to provide practical and professional employee relations support to managers across a range of HR matters.

The client requires an experienced HR professional who can quickly pick up a busy casework portfolio, provide confident advice to managers, and support the resolution of employee relations matters from start to finish.

The role is hybrid worked i.e. 3 days office, 2 days at home once the person is fully trained.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, capability, probation and conduct matters.
• Provide timely and accurate HR advice to managers, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and procedures.
• Support managers throughout the full case management process, including preparing documentation, correspondence and reports.
• Attend formal meetings and hearings to provide procedural guidance and HR advice.
• Interpret and apply HR policies consistently and fairly.
• Advise on terms and conditions of employment and general workforce-related queries.
• Maintain accurate case records and utilise HR systems to support case management and reporting.
• Build effective working relationships with managers, employees and trade union representatives.
• Ensure all casework is handled confidentially and in accordance with data protection requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience of managing a broad range of complex employee relations casework.
• Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Ability to provide clear, pragmatic and solution-focused advice to managers.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience of drafting HR correspondence and reports.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
