JOB - Lead Maintenance Technician LOCATION - Hampshire TERM - Permanent SALARY - £60,000 - £70,000 My client is an established oil and gas production business, seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day running of its Maintenance Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Instrumentation Technician with electrical knowledge and previous supervisory experience to take a lead role in maintaining site facilities, overseeing maintenance activities and ensuring high standards of health and safety. The ideal candidate will have: An instrumentation qualification (Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3) Good working knowledge of electrical systems and equipment 4-5 years'' maintenance experience, ideally within oil and gas or a similar process industry Previous experience supervising or leading maintenance technicians Strong knowledge of instrumentation, electrical and control systems Understanding of mechanical plant, process equipment and preventative maintenance Knowledge of ESD, Fire andamp; Gas and emergency shutdown systems Understanding of DSEAR and ATEX regulations, particularly hazardous area equipment Good knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and industry regulations Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills IT literacy and the ability to work independently and take responsibility The role will involve: Supporting the Maintenance Manager with the day-to-day running of ..... full job details .....
