This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist seeking a long-term career with a company that actively invests in employee development and training.The successful candidate will be an experienced Programmer, Setter and Operator with knowledge of CNC turning processes and experience working with either Fanuc, Siemens or Prototrak controls. Whilst previous Mazak experience is not essential, candidates must be enthusiastic about learning new technologies and willing to undertake formal Mazak control training, fully funded by the company.Key Responsibilities Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machinery.Producing precision components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.Selecting appropriate tooling and setting machine offsets.Editing and optimising CNC programs as required.Performing first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.Ensuring components meet quality and dimensional standards.Identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies.Maintaining a safe and organised working environment.Adhering to all company quality, health and safety procedures.
