Controls Commissioning EngineerA well-established engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke automated manufacturing systems is seeking a Controls Commissioning Engineer to join its team.About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning automated equipment from build completion through to customer inspection and final sign-off. Working with bespoke automation systems, you will use your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and support successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme and modify control systems, including PLCs, servo drives, robots and specialist controllers.Troubleshoot and adjust mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control equipment.Carry out fault finding and assess the operation of individual mechanisms and complex systems.Modify electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and software systems to improve performance.Identify and recommend opportunities for system improvements.Conduct structured testing to establish system capabilities and limitations.Record test results and maintain accurate documentation of modifications.Provide regular feedback to project teams to support progress monitoring.Participate in internal design reviews for current and future projects.Travel to customer sites across the UK and overseas when required.What We''re Looking ForRelevant vocational qualifications or a recognised apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical discipline.Experience ..... full job details .....
