You ll play a key role in supporting production targets and supplier management. Responsibilities: Interpret requirement plans and manage purchase orders. Progress orders to meet customer delivery schedules. Analyse buying patterns and predict future trends. Negotiate contracts and assess supplier suitability. Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve quality issues. Secure long-term cost agreements and review supply agreements. Support cost-down programmes and process ECNs. Maintain accurate electronic and manual systems. Record and report vendor performance data. Collaborate with accounts on financial data and budgeting. Act as SAP Super User for purchasing.
