You ll mentor team members and provide management support in the absence of the Supply Chain Manager. Responsibilities: Support the purchasing team to meet project deadlines. Cover purchasing duties during the Supply Chain Manager''s absence. Assist with annual budget preparation and capital expenditure advice. Oversee materials requirement planning and ensure accuracy. Analyse market conditions, manage stock levels, and mitigate risks. Negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships. Secure long-term cost agreements and review supply agreements. Conduct supplier audits and support cost-down programmes. Maintain SAP data accuracy and manage electronic/manual systems. Collaborate with accounts and production teams to minimise shortages. Engage in process improvements and lean management projects. Candidate Requirements: CIPS qualification with strong purchasing knowledge. MUST have SAP
