A premium dealership in South Wales, part of one of the UK''s leading prestige motor groups, needs a Used Car Sales Manager totake full ownership of its approved used operation.

The department already delivers around 60 cars a month and the target is 70. The sales team is largely new, keen and has no bad habits, so you''ll have the freedom to shape it. You''ll report to a Head of Business who''s hands on and wants someone to grow with the site, not just fill a seat.

THE PACKAGE
* -35,000 to -40,000+ basic, depending on experience
* -70,000 OTE, plus annual stretch bonuses
* Premium company car up to around -80k to -85k on a low BIK scheme
* Same day off every week, plus every other weekend fully off
* 33 days holiday including bank holidays
* Private medical, enhanced pension and a structured career path

WHAT YOU''LL BE DOING
* Owning the profitability of the approved used department, from units and margin to F&I
* Leading and coaching six sales executives, supported by two business managers
* Running weekly sales meetings and a tight enquiry management process
* Managing stock acquisition, trade disposal and prep so cars are on sale fast
* Building stock to around 90 prepped cars and driving a 9 to 10 times stock turn
* Keeping customer metrics and retention strong

WHAT YOU''LL BRING
* Proven experience as a Used Car Sales Manager, Sales Manager or Sales Controller in motor retail
* Strong leadership. You set clear expectations and get the best out of people
* A solid grip on the full used car cycle: enquiries, buying, trade disposal, prep and selling
* The ability to drive units and F&I together
* High standards, fresh ideas and the energy to lift a team
* Premium or prestige brand experience is a bonus
