Architectural Technologist

I''m working with a respected, award-winning multidisciplinary practice in Leeds that is looking to recruit a motivated Architectural Technologist to join its growing design team. Following a string of recent commission wins, the team is now delivering a varied workload across Residential, Education, and Industrial and Logistics schemes.

The Role:

• Produce and coordinate technical drawings, schedules and specifications across all RIBA Stages
• Offer technical delivery support on projects spanning multiple sectors
• Work with consultants and contractors to coordinate project information
• Create and develop BIM models from early concept stage through to completion on site
• Prepare and monitor planning and Building Regulations submissions
• Respond to site queries and RFIs as they come up
• Work effectively with minimal supervision

The Ideal Candidate:

• Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT)
• Honours Degree, or an HND/HNC/Apprenticeship supported by relevant experience
• Strong background within a UK architectural practice
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations and British Standards
• Practical experience liaising with planning and building control
• Self-motivated, proactive communicator with confidence working independently
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
