IT Support Engineer L2 - Contract (Inside IR35) Location: Manchester (on-site) Contract: 3 months Rate: £200 per day (umbrella only) IR35: Inside IR35 Overview We are looking for a hands-on IT Support Engineer for a short-term, on-site contract in Manchester. The role is focused on user support, onboarding new starters, laptop staging, and providing high-quality VIP support. This position places a strong emphasis on communication, proactiveness, and customer service rather than deep technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site IT and desk-side support to office users Assist new joiners, including laptop setup and onboarding Stage and configure laptops prior to deployment Manage IT stock and assets Deliver VIP/executive support as required Support general ad-hoc IT requests Skills andamp; Experience Previous experience in an IT support/desktop support role L2 Proven knowledge of Intune Excellent communication and customer-facing skills Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently Confident supporting users at all levels
