Academics are recruiting an experienced HR Officer for an Outstanding secondary school in the Borough of Ealing.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR Officer with school-based HR experience to join a supportive school team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding and safer recruitment checks.
• Maintain staff records and HR databases.
• Prepare contracts, offer letters and employment documents.
• Support managers with HR queries and administration.
• Coordinate DBS checks, references and safeguarding records.
• Ensure compliance with KCSIE and school policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HR Officer, ideally in a school.
• Knowledge of education HR and safer recruitment.
• Understanding of DBS and safeguarding procedures.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent IT skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
