Technical Operations Engineer Job Description Electronics / Technology / Manufacturing The Opportunity We are seeking a technically capable Technical Operations Engineer to support and oversee the technical operations associated with the manufacturing, testing, quality and compliance of electronic products. This is a varied, hands-on role working across manufacturing processes, firmware programming, quality engineering, regulatory compliance and supplier operations. You will work closely with internal engineering teams, contract manufacturers and external suppliers to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, meet required technical and regulatory standards, and are ready for reliable production and delivery. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing and Production Oversee PCB assembly processes, workmanship standards and component handling requirements. Support Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT). Ensure production testing processes are robust and effective. Support manufacturing readiness and production process improvements. Firmware and Product Security Coordinate production firmware programming. Manage signed firmware and secure programming procedures. Oversee secure key and certificate loading during manufacturing.
