The Opportunity We are recruiting for an organised and proactive Stock Control and Purchasing Coordinator to join an established organisation.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing, stock control and inventory management who enjoys working in a hands-on, operational environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating purchasing activities, managing supplier deliveries and ensuring materials, products and equipment are available when required.You will use SAP and Microsoft Excel to support inventory accuracy, purchasing efficiency and operational performance.Key Responsibilities Stock Control and Inventory Management Monitor stock levels and ensure materials and products are available to meet operational requirements. Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP and other relevant systems. Investigate stock discrepancies, shortages and delivery issues. Conduct regular stock checks and support periodic stocktakes. Monitor excess, obsolete and slow-moving stock, identifying opportunities to improve inventory efficiency. Ensure stock movements and goods receipts are recorded accurately. Purchasing and Supplier Coordination Raise and process purchase orders in line with business requirements. Obtain supplier quotations and support purchasing decisions.
