We are recruiting an organised and reliable Goods In / Stock Control Operative to support the workshop operations of a specialist bespoke furniture and joinery manufacturing business in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, checking, storing and distributing materials, maintaining accurate stock records and coordinating the movement of materials between the workshop and client sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in warehouse operations, goods in or stock control who has strong organisational skills and good computer literacy. Job Details Location: Edinburgh, Scotland Salary: £14.00-£18.00 per hour, depending on experience Role Type: Permanent, Full-time Hours: 39 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 08:00-17:00; Friday, 08:00-13:00 Breaks: 15-minute morning break and 30-minute lunch break Overtime: Hours worked above 39 per week paid at 1.5x About the Role Working within a specialist furniture and joinery manufacturing environment, you will help ensure that materials and supplies are received, stored and distributed efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining two separate stock areas, monitoring inventory levels and ensuring materials are correctly labelled, recorded and available for ongoing production projects.
