We are working with an established business looking to appoint a proactive and organised Stock Control and Purchasing Coordinator to support its operational requirements and ensure the efficient availability of materials, products and equipment.The Role You will play an important part in managing stock levels and coordinating purchasing activities, ensuring materials are available when needed while maintaining accurate records and controlling inventory costs. Key responsibilities will include:Monitoring stock levels and raising purchase orders to meet operational requirements.Managing the purchasing process from obtaining supplier quotations through to order placement and delivery.Using SAP to maintain accurate inventory records, process purchase orders and manage goods receipts.Liaising with suppliers to track deliveries, resolve shortages and investigate stock discrepancies.Maintaining appropriate inventory levels while minimising excess, obsolete and slow-moving stock.Coordinating the supply of materials, equipment and consumables to support day-to-day operations.Monitoring supplier performance, pricing and lead times, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and cost ..... full job details .....
