Mechanical Supervisor Location: Central London (EC2) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive salary + overtime + benefits The Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operation of mechanical and HVAC systems within a commercial building in Central London. The successful candidate will supervise a team of engineers, ensuring safe working practices, high-quality maintenance and excellent customer service across all building services operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the engineering team, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, site procedures and quality standards. Oversee planned and reactive maintenance of HVAC systems, pumps, valves, water tanks and associated mechanical equipment. Diagnose faults using Building Management Systems (BMS) and carry out repairs to mechanical plant and equipment. Supervise the installation, modification and repair of pipework systems. Manage safety briefings, staff training, performance reviews, attendance and timesheets. Respond to reactive maintenance requests and ensure work is completed within agreed timescales. Maintain accurate records using CAFM systems and other maintenance platforms. Coordinate contractors, suppliers, spare parts and materials to support efficient service delivery.
