Assistant Accountant / Finance Assistant Pinpoint Resourcing are partnering with an established and growing electrical compliance business who is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant / Finance Assistant to join its central finance team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing day-to-day financial operations across transactional accounting and payroll administration. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day transaction processing including processing weekly purchasing card transactions and costing into MRI Collate and input payroll documentation such as timesheets, holidays, absences, and acting as the point of contact for employee payroll queries Support ledger management across both the Purchase and Sales Ledgers, including credit control tasks for subsidiaries Assist with treasury operations by helping with payment runs and supporting the Accounts Manager with the weekly cash flow model Maintain company compliance with Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities, and other corporate policies Provide wider support and administration cover to the finance function as required Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a transactional finance, ledger, or payroll administration role Hands-on software exposure, ideally with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial systems like MRI AAT qualification (Level 2, 3, or part-qualified Level 4) is highly desirable Strong workload prioritisation ..... full job details .....
