Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured GCSE tutoring sessions

• Support students in core subjects such as Maths, English, or Science

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties)

• Identify gaps in knowledge and tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs

• Help students build confidence and improve exam technique

• Track progress and provide feedback where required

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in your specialist subject

• Previous experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is desirable

• A relevant degree or strong academic background

• A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach to learning

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
