Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 or small group GCSE tuition sessions.

• Support students in English and/or Maths, helping to strengthen subject knowledge and exam technique.

• Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet the individual learning needs of students with SEN.

• Build positive relationships to help students develop confidence, independence, and motivation.

• Support students in preparing for GCSE assessments and exams through structured revision and targeted practice.

• Monitor progress and provide feedback where required.

Requirements

• Strong subject knowledge in GCSE English and/or Maths.

• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

• Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE / Key Stage 4 students.

• Ability to differentiate lessons and use inclusive teaching strategies.

• Strong communication and patience when supporting students with additional needs.

• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed academically.

Pay rates: -25-30 per hour
