  • Adopt a holistic approach, drawing on a range of educational and therapeutic strategies to meet individual needs.

  • Promote pupils’ independence, communication and social development.

  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of all pupils at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Has experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly complex needs and/or SLD.

  • Has either Primary or Secondary teaching experience.

  • Can deliver outstanding teaching as part of a multi-disciplinary classroom team.

  • Has experience leading within a subject area and driving pupil progress.

  • Maintains high expectations and believes firmly that every pupil can achieve.

  • Demonstrates patience, resilience and a calm demeanour, with the ability to remain positive under pressure.

  • Is fully committed to safeguarding and child protection.

What the School Offers

  • A committed and enthusiastic staff team and supportive governing body.

  • High-quality professional development opportunities.

  • The opportunity to shape provision and contribute to ongoing school improvement.

  • A purposeful, happy and nurturing learning environment.

  • A strong culture of collaboration, inclusion and ambition for all pupils.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SEND teacher who is motivated to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with complex needs.
