Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored reading and literacy support for children with complex SEN

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and communication styles

• Use structured approaches to support phonics, comprehension, and engagement with reading

• Build positive relationships and encourage confidence in learning

• Monitor progress and provide feedback where required

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children or young people with complex SEN

• Background in education, SEN support, tutoring, or care work is highly desirable

• Understanding of strategies used to support learners with additional needs

• Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
