FINANCIAL CONTROLLER Malvern £55,000 to £70,000 + 10% Bonus and Benefits An established £20m turnover manufacturing business in Malvern is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of its finance function. Part of a larger international group, this is a hands-on and varied role, working closely with the Finance Director and wider management team. You''ll lead a finance team while overseeing financial reporting, stock control, costing, budgeting and day-to-day financial operations. This is a busy manufacturing environment with a significant stock portfolio, so strong attention to detail, organisation and the ability to maintain accurate financial controls are essential. SKILLS and EXPERIENCE Fully qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with knowledge of standard costing and stock valuation. Experience managing a finance team and overseeing day-to-day finance operations. Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and report financial information. Good understanding of management accounts, budgeting, financial controls and reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for local management and Group. Manage stock costing, inventory valuation, production variances and physical stocktakes. Lead budgeting, standard costing and overhead absorption activities.
