About the Role
The Financial Analyst is an integral part of Latham''s Finance and Accounting team. This role will be responsible for monitoring and responding to requests sent to Financial Information Center (FIC) and responding to other ad-hoc requests from partners and management, while working in a team environment to complete ad-hoc financial analyses, reports, and special projects related to client statistics and firm financial metrics This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
Utilising analytical skills and expert knowledge of business, economics, finance, and accounting to complete complex tasksUtilising 3E financial system and Business Objects to obtain data, organise information, and build reports to facilitate effective analysisAccurately interpreting requests for analysis and reporting to produce appropriate and correct final work productEffectively communicating work product to colleagues across the firm through e-mail, phone, web conference, video conference, and in-person presentations, while answering any questions that may arise regarding the data and/or analytical methods and assumptions used to build the work productMaking recommendations to streamline the workflow and process within the organization while utilizing new technologies to automate tasks and reportingWe''d love to hear from you if you:
Demonstrate excellent leadership skills including organising, planning, problem-solving, and decision-makingDisplay the ability to lead large, long-term, and complex projects from inception to completionPossess the ability to develop alternative solutions to meet goalsAnd have:
A Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fieldRelated analytical experience in finance or accounting, preferablyExperience at a professional services organization, preferablyExperience in working on ad-hoc requests and projects in a fast-paced environmentBenefits and Additional Information
