Graduate Financial Analyst - Forensic Accounting. As we continue to grow in the UK and Ireland, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to join our Forensic Accounting team as a Financial Analyst based in our London or Manchester Office. Individuals must have a desire to commence and progress their career within the accountancy profession and to join a leading global loss adjusting business. This is a great opportunity for individuals to develop expertise working alongside highly qualified Loss Adjusters, Engineers, and Surveyors. The candidate will study and complete the ACA accounting qualification (Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales). Analyse and assess insured financial losses from inception to settlement.Examine financial documentation alongside insurance policies to determine coverage in the event of a financial loss.Attend on-site investigations and damage surveys with Loss Adjusters and senior forensic accounting team members; inspect physical damage and understand the operations and finances of a business.Perform detailed analysis and review of both financial and non-financial information.Prepare reports for loss adjusters, insurers and lawyers.Assist in presentations and training as part of the forensic accounting team, both internally and to clients.Undertake projects and other ad hoc work as required.Qualifications and Requirements
Must be working towards or hold a Full UK Driving Licence.GCSE Maths Grade 6 or B (or equivalent).GCSE English Language Grade 6 or B (or equivalent).120 UCAS points from top 3 A Level grades, excluding General Studies.2:1 undergraduate degree in any discipline, accounting or finance preferred.Available to study and complete the ACA qualification with support provided by the company.About You
Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to self-manage workload and prioritise effectively.Methodical, accurate, and analytical approach to work with pride in quality.Committed to completing professional examinations (Dip CILA).Proficient with MS Word and Excel; excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to establish productive working relationships with colleagues and third parties.Thrives in a high-pressure environment with drive to meet and exceed targets.
