We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Front of House (FOH) Manager
to lead our customer-facing operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise FOH staff, including hosts and duty managers. Produce SOPs, and provide coaching and support to maintain high performance and morale. Set goals and targets to the team.Guest Experience:
Ensure that every guest receives outstanding service from arrival to departure. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
Operational Management:Oversee day-to-day FOH operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, table setup, and adherence to company policies and standards.
Coordination and Communication:Work closely with the kitchen and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and smooth communication between departments.
Inventory and Supplies:Monitor FOH supplies and place orders as needed (e.g., uniforms, menus, service tools). Manage budgets and reduce waste.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure all FOH activities are compliant with health and safety regulations, food safety standards,
Reporting:
Maintain records related to staffing, service issues, and customer satisfaction. Prepare and present reports to senior management as required.Requirements:- Proven experience in a supervisory or management FOH role (2+ years preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic budgeting principles
- Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:- Hospitality or business management degree/diploma (preferably)
- Experience in hotel, residences, BTR
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
