2nd Line Support Engineer
Robert Half are supporting a London based financial services organisation with their search for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong end user computing experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of modern endpoint security and device management. Role The 2nd Line Support Engineer will be responsible for the support, stability, and security of end user devices across Windows, iOS, and Android. You will manage incoming support requests via email, phone, and internal ticketing systems, ensuring timely escalation and resolution. Key duties include: Providing 1st and 2nd line support across laptops, mobile devices, and M365 services.Working closely with site-based IT contacts, offering guidance, training, and ensuring consistent support standards.Creating and maintaining support documentation to enhance the user experience.Developing your technical skill set with clear progression opportunities into more advanced engineering responsibilities.Supporting occasional out of hours work when required.Assisting the wider Technology and Information teams with operational and project based tasks.Carrying out additional duties as directed by the IT leadership team.
