The Woodland Trust is looking for a Land and Property Manager to join our central region. Working as part of a UK wide team the Land and Property Manager will manage all land and property acquisition, disposal, legal, tenancy and agricultural aspects of Woodland Trust sites in conjunction with the regional estate team, engaging with external parties, leading on internal approval processes, assisting with RDPE grant applications and instructing the internal legal team or specialist agents or consultants. The Role: Lead land acquisitions and disposals across the region, managing transactions from initial opportunity through to completion. Identify and develop land acquisition, partnership and funding opportunities that support the Trust''s strategic priorities. Manage agricultural tenancies, grazing agreements and wider land management arrangements to deliver conservation outcomes and maximise income. Provide professional advice on property, estate management and land-related legal matters to colleagues across the organisation. Support the delivery of environmental grants, stewardship schemes and other land management funding opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, legal advisers, partners and other key stakeholders. Manage budgets, estate records and compliance requirements, ensuring activities are delivered efficiently and in line with best practice.
