About the job As a centre of expertise in meningitis aftercare and support, Meningitis Now delivers specialist, impactful services across the UK through its established Community Support Team. Building on this strong foundation, this new role will develop tailored, inclusive support for men affected by meningitis. Shaped by men''s lived experience, this new role will create new ways for men to connect, remove barriers to support, and embed best practice in engagement with men across the charity. The role will: Co-design and lead evidence-informed support with men who have lived experience of meningitis, creating meaningful opportunities for connection through peer support, events, online groups and tailored resources Provide compassionate one-to-one emotional and practical support, manage an active caseload and develop support plans that reflect each individual''s needs Help men access Meningitis Now''s wider services and trusted specialist organisations, and advocate for greater understanding of the lasting effects of meningitis in settings such as education and employment Build relationships with ..... full job details .....
