Trade Account Manager Required!

Our client is an established manufacturer with extensive experience in the motorsport industry, specialising in the production of high-quality, durable go-karts supplied to commercial karting venues worldwide.

Due to continued success, our client is actively seeking a dynamic, sales-focused professional to join their Spare Parts Sales Department in the role of a Trade Account Manager.

• Monday - Friday 8am till 5pm

Trade Account Manager - Responsibilities:

• Manage existing trade accounts, maintain customer relationships and identify opportunities to generate new business worldwide.
• Make outbound sales calls to generate leads, enquiries and orders.
• Respond to customer enquiries and process spare parts orders through the Spares mailbox.
• Prepare customer quotations and proformas, including following up on outstanding quotes.
• Raise customer orders using Sage 200.
• Order spare parts from suppliers and monitor stock levels and supplier costs.
• Liaise with suppliers and the factory regarding orders, repairs and returned parts.
• Arrange transport and the collection of damaged or unwanted parts.
• Work towards monthly sales targets while minimising order processing errors.
• Maintain and update product listings on the online spare parts store.
• Develop a good understanding of customer requirements and provide a high level of customer service.

Trade Account Manager - Requirements:

• At least 3 years'' experience in account management, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Confident making outbound sales calls and building customer relationships.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Good IT skills and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to sales.
• Accurate and detail-focused when handling orders and quotes.
