Service Desk Engineer

We are recruiting for a number of contract Service Desk Engineers to join a leading healthcare company based in Runcorn. The role will operate predominantly remote with 1 day per week required on site. However, full presence in the office is required for the first few weeks for training. The initial contract length will be 3 months inside IR35, and requires candidates available for immediate interview and start. Experience in the following is preferable, but training will be provided: Possess an awareness and understanding of IT Operational Delivery of End point services. Experience of supporting endpoint devices, remotely, over the phone, via IM and where appropriate travel to provide desk-side support Experience supporting a wide user base operating Windows 10, peripherals, hardware, software, printers and other peripherals Well organised, resourceful and a proficient problem solver comfortable working under pressure with a logical mindset Experience supporting Microsoft OS and third-party applications. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage with a wide variety of users in a fast-paced service desk environment.
