Senior Fire Safety Surveyor | Fire Engineering Consultancy | Hybrid Working | 9-Day Fortnight

An established and growing fire engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Fire Safety Surveyor to join their expanding team, working across a diverse range of new-build and existing building projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

The successful Senior Fire Safety Surveyor will undertake a variety of fire safety inspections and surveys, ensuring buildings meet fire safety standards and the requirements of their fire strategies.

• Conduct Fire Risk Assessments across various building types.

• Undertake fire compartmentation, fire door and fire damper surveys.

• Carry out PAS 9980 external wall assessments and cavity barrier inspections.

• Complete internal, final and fire strategy compliance inspections.

• Produce detailed technical reports, fee proposals and risk assessments.

• Liaise directly with clients and provide practical fire safety solutions.

• Mentor junior surveyors and support technical development.

• Minimum 3 years'' experience in fire safety surveying.

• Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification.

• Experience across multiple fire safety inspection disciplines.

• Strong technical reporting and communication skills.

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

• Fire door inspection qualifications desirable.

• IFSM or IFE membership/accreditation advantageous.

• Proactive, organised and confident working independently.
